PROBLEMS AND TROUBLE SHOOTING IN PACKING MACHINES
BISCUIT PACKETS DEFECTIVES
These occurs for following reasons
Stack length of biscuits is not maintained check with the production and quality people ask them to maintain the pre defined stack length or adjust the cross feeders settings in case of minor deviation .
Cut off length of wrapper s is not correct . Ask for correct wrappers/laminates roll with cut off length .
Packets bottom seal or end seals are open .Check the temperature settings of heaters OR burnt end seals and bottom seals check the heater temperatures.
Check pressure of cutters in case cutting is not proper zig -zag cutters are more popular .
Cutters position and their sharpness .Change the cutter in case cutting is not proper.
Adjust time delay of jaws if machine is not cutting proper at eye mark.
Check print mark scanner positioning for correct cutting at eye mark to eye mark .
Printing of codes are out ie not at correct position . Adjust the wrappers through forward and reverse correction .
Twisting problem in wrapper - check the pinch rollers position .
