• IDLE HOURS  FOR  WORKER


It has to be observed and study to be conducted  to see whether each workers perform for80%
of his alloted working hours effectively . Few activity can be clubbed together if worker is found
to be idle .



  • IDLE HOURS FOR MACHINES

Normally in plant operations we would observe that machines are not utilised 100% of their
capacity as we had more numbers of machine than required . Additional manpower is used for
running these machines intermittently.In such cases one or two machines are loaded 100% and
rest are eliminated

Low cost automation in production  can be implemented with low investment it can be
modification of machines , improvement in movement of material s and feeding the machine .



  • ENERGY  EFFICIENT  TECHNOLOGY
Putting up energy efficient technology can also reduce  cost of production like  frequency
drives  for motors , fans etc




  • FUEL EFFICIENCY

Fuel  efficiency can be used to lower the cost of production  with use of  fuel efficient burners  
or using alternate fuels such as cng or lpg intead of ldo or Hsd
